Harley-Davidson offers motorcycle riders more performance, style, technology, and freedom for the soul with updates to its 2021 models. Effectively reducing the number of different models while maintaining plenty of choices and customization options, the key highlights this year include replacing the Street Bob with the Street Bob 114, Fat Boy 114 restyling, and new options for three popular touring baggers: Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, and Road King Special.

For 2021, Harley-Davidson offers four super-premium models created by its Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) team. Shown here is the beautiful CVO version of its Street Glide, one of the most
popular touring motorcycles women ride.

There are three Sportsters to choose from in 2021: the Iron 883 ($9,499), Iron 1200 ($9,999) shown here, and the Forty-Eight ($11,299). The
Street 500 and 750 are discontinued for 2021, but Harley-Davidson will continue to use the Street 500 for its
rider training programs.

Starting at $14,999, the new 2021 Street Bob 114 is a bobber style motorcycle featuring wire wheels, short fenders, mini-ape handlebar, and a big powerful engine. Women moving up from a Sportster to a
bike that’s capable of more miles between fuel fills will love the Street Bob’s easy handling and performance and low 26.8-inch seat height.
Softail Cruisers
With the retro styled chromed out Deluxe noticeably missing from the Softail lineup (that was revamped in 2018 to include the Dynas) nine Harley-Davidson models remain in the Softail group. The Street Bob gets a performance boost and is now only available with the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. The lightest weight Softail model equipped with the 114 engine, the Street Bob 114, is a quick and nimble ride with power to spare. Women will love its low 26.8 inch seat height, easy reach to the mini-ape handlebar, and mid-placed foot controls. The bobber style includes a chopped rear fender, but there's room enough for the included passenger pad, which comes in handy when securing a bag for some storage.

The iconic Fat Boy model is refreshed for 2021 with brilliant chrome replacing the satin chrome finish on the bike’s powertrain and exhaust, the front end, the rear fender struts, and the console.

The Sport Glide was introduced after the initial release of the revamped Softails in 2018 and remains in the lineup for 2021. This bike features a mini batwing fairing and detachable saddlebags, making it more comfortable and capable for long weekend getaways. It comes with the Milwaukee Eight 107 V-twin engine, but for 2021 Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories offers Milwaukee-Eight Screamin’ Eagle Stage III kits for Softail models that give riders a significant increase in torque and power over the stock engine.
Touring Models

The 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special and Road Glide Special have new two-tone paint options, and a choice of a blacked-out or bright chrome styling treatment. Shown here is the Road Glide Special in Snake Venom paint with black finish on the left and chrome finish on the right. This model starts at $27,099.
Road King Special and Street Glide Special models are equipped with a new brilliant Daymaker LED headlamp, and all three Special models feature a new low-profile engine guard.
All Harley-Davidson Touring models equipped with the color touch-screen Boom! Box GTS infotainment system now feature Android Auto and Apple CarPlay application compatibility. With a wired connection to a compatible smartphone, the rider may use either app to access media, streaming services, communication and navigation on the road while minimizing distractions.
CVO Models: Audio and Safety Enhancements

Harley-Davidson CVO motorcycles like this 2021 CVO Street Glide represent the pinnacle of Harley-Davidson style and design, with show-stopping finishes, advanced technology, and exclusive components—all at a premium price tag. This 2021 CVO Street Glide in Sunset Orange and Sunset Black Fade starts at $40,599.
For 2021, the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models debut all-new Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate, an advanced audio system, featuring speakers and amplifiers designed specifically for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate components will also be available through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories for 2014 and later H-D Touring motorcycles equipped with a Boom! Box infotainment unit.
Each of the four 2021 CVO models—CVO Street Glide, CVO Road Glide, CVO Limited and CVO Tri Glide—feature new paint options and styling features. The Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine is exclusive to CVO models and is the most powerful engine offered as original equipment from the Harley-Davidson factory.
Continuously engineering new technology to make motorcycling even more intuitive, all CVO models are equipped with RDRS Safety Enhancements (formerly known as just RDRS). This suite of technologies is designed to enhance rider confidence during unexpected situations or poor road conditions. Elements of RDRS Safety Enhancements include Cornering Enhanced Electronic Linked Braking, Cornering Enhanced Anti-lock Braking System, Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System, Drag-Torque Slip Control System, Vehicle Hold Control, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

We’ve been patiently waiting for a couple of years now to get out on Harley-Davidson’s all-new Pan America 1250 adventure touring motorcycle. Here’s a teaser photo showing actor Jason Momoa taking a prototype out for a down and dirty test ride. The Motor Company promises to reveal this all new model on February 22. We are looking forward to being among the first to review this bike from a woman’s perspective. Stay tuned!
