I believe in wearing all kinds of protection. I wear my gloves on my own bike. Yes I even wear gloves (all protection) when I hubby-hug. Riding as driver or passenger there is no promise of the out come if something happens, so dress for the fall not the ride. I have very small but kind of thick hands so gloves are a battle for me, but can't stand to go with out them on. Helmet a must, gloves, long sleeves even in hot weather, pants, jacket, boots. It don't always have to be leather there are all kinds of protective items on the market. There is no reason to ride unprotected. My motto is, "Ride safe and protected at all times."

Thank you! As an ovarian cancer survivor (dx 10/2013), I applaud all that you are doing to raise awareness for this horrible beast. I am currently NED (no evidence of disease), but we all know that can change in an instant.

I have had several hand surgeries and I always wear gloves with a good gel pad! In fact, the only time I ever rode barehanded was my first (very short) ride after being cleared to ride by the back surgeon. It felt so weird to not have gloves on!
