I went to NY's show in Jan 2010 and met and joined Spokes Women MC club as it was based close to me. Next year I hoped to man (or should i say wo-man) our booth to show women out there that this is one thing all women should do. It is great fun and invigorating to ride.

Thank you so much for this information. I'm glad others are finally realizing that women ride too. We want motorcycle gear especially for us and not limited items. I've spent the last four weekends going to different motorcycle stores just trying to find different items that no one else is currently wearing. I got lucky in two stores, one in Rocky Mount, NC, Twin County Motorsports, and in Norfolk, VA, Cycle Gear. So I know women are serious about what they wear and want to look good, but also be safe. Thank you for providing the information on the conventions coming up.
Blessings and peace always.

As a woman rider, I worked the NYC show in the Women's Center, and it was a great success. There was not only clothing and brochures, information etc. but informative sessions on riding and anything pertaining to women and motorcycling. I'm glad to hear that it will be back and even better. I'll be there!

I went to Cleveland's International Motorcycle Show a few years ago and loved it. Unlike some stuffy dealerships, most vendors want you to touch and mount their bikes and even take it off the stand. You can check out all bike manufactures at once. They had some great informative short seminars and enough gear and accessories to please anyone.

I intend to visit 2011's Cleveland show as I will be to choosing my next bike and am looking forward to checking out the new women rider's booth. Plan to spend the day...it's that huge. Living in the cold snowy north, I'll be needing a motorcycle fix by then.
