Great article about a great event! We had a wonderful time there and met many wonderful women. I appreciate smaller size events because I get to meet so many peep there. Overall, it was a wonderful time.

Awesome article! It captured the spirit darn well. It was a great conference that I hope they have again.

I'm sorry to hear and read about this event after the fact. I could be wrong, I don't recall receiving any advertisement that would have informed me, or better yet, helped to promote this event. It's unfortunate and maybe the reason for a poor turnout; certainly the AMA has a list of people who could be reached. Using the internet to advertise, Web sites like, offers free advertising for motorcycle events.

I attended the last three AMA Women's Conferences with mixed feelings. Not to discredit or dismiss the work put into having the Women's Conference -- it is a well established event, but has so little changed to what it offers in a market that is growing rapidly among women. I'm no longer a beginner or new to the motorcycle world, so what I would like to see take place at a conference has changed as a result of being a little more seasoned, so to speak. However I remain supportive of their cause.

Your event seems to offer a little more hands on approach as well as the skills course which would have appealed to me. I'm sorry I missed it and I hope in going forward the word gets out to more women who may potentially be interested in attending your rally.

Excellent article. I was not able to attend due to finances. It sounds like the ladies did a great job. Thank you for sharing this.
