Lovely article, my favorite part of being on a bike is being forced to live in the now.

Very good advice. And very timely. After a summer of not taking enough time for my motorcycles, I have resolved to ride through the winter for many of the same reasons you listed. Here in the Carolinas, we don't often have to deal with icy roads, so it's very possible to ride all winter. Yet a rider does have to deal with riding in temps in the 30s and 40s at times. I find that I'll be all stressed out and just a short ride on the motorcycle clears the static from my head. It makes life much more pleasurable for me. Oh, and my cell phone stays in the saddlebag for the entire ride.

Awesome inspiration. I have had the enjoyment of riding with friends. The plan has always been about the opportunity to ride alone. It's not about if, t's when. Thank you.

This works for men as well. Great story and good timing.
