Reinvent Your Biker Self

Enter to win the Ultimate Biker Makeover

Are you still sporting the same riding gear you bought back in 1997, or are you tired of wearing the same ole riding apparel? Is your motorcycle lacking a few cool components to finally make it your own? If this describes you, then the Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover is just for you.

Contestants (guys and girls) must submit a 600 words or less essay describing why they are most in need of a biker makeover, as well as a photo that best illustrates why. Email it to bikermakeover@garage-girls.com by May 10, 2010. Submissions will be narrowed down to the final four by selected judges from Garage-Girls and Carlisle Events. Once the final four are chosen, the public will allowed to vote online at Garage-Girls.com for whom they feel most deserves the Ultimate Biker Makeover.

From that group, two winners will be selected for the Rider Makeover, including all-new gear and accessories with one grand-prize winner being chosen for the Ultimate Biker Makeover, which includes accessories for his or her motorcycle. Winners must be present at the Carlisle Bike Fest on Saturday, July 24th, 2010 to collect their prizes. For more information, rules, eligibility and submission procedures, visit Garage-Girls.com or CarlisleEvents.com.

  1. Glad to hear they've changed the rules for this year's contest–specifically the maximum number of words allowed per entry. I was very disappointed with last year's contest because the individual who ended up winning obviously didn't comply with the contest rules (her entry FAR exceeded the maximum allowed), and that my attempt to diplomatically speak up about the situation was to no avail.

I couldn't have been the only one to raise the issue, and based on the change it looks like they've heard it loud and clear. Best of luck to those that choose to participate.

  2. This looks like a really cool deal! Hmmmm… What should I write? They say a picture is worth a 1000 words and we're only allowed 600 words! Maybe a picture with the old gear and old motorcycle?
