Whoa! In every article you write, I am transported with you, to that place and time. You have such a gift sharing your journey, your love of life and riding, love of your friends and the pure joy that is revealed in your thoughts. I ride with you in every mile! See you on the road.

Thank you Betsy, from your Santa Barbara Toy Run friend

Dig the pics Betsy. I like any well taken photos of "Off ya arse and out there doing it." Well done. A lot of friends here down under have been to Sturgis, except me. One day it'll happen... before I'm too damn old to travel!

I cruise about in the outback of Queensland, which is way out there, typical outback Oz. I went on a poker run a few weeks ago and by the time I got back home, I did nearly 300 miles. It's known as Australia's longest poker run, run by the Southern Cross Association, who raise money for Spina Bifida. They have FTC on their shirts, and I thought it meant f#%^ the cops, but was abruptly told "No! It means For The Children!" Me being an ol 1%er in the day, was put in my place (with a bit of chuckling). Most straightest bunch of people I've ever ridden with! But raising money for a good cause.

I got off a 1984 Harley-Davidson FXST that I bought new years ago and onto a FXCW/C Rocker. Wow! Big difference! I have a 1929 Harley-Davidson J, and a 1969 FLH turquoise and white, which is all stock/original paint/chrome. I tinker with those when my missus gets to grumbling on occasion and I bolt into my shed. Stereo on and chill out - ha ha ha.

My wife used to ride a 1986 1100 Sporty 20 years ago, but the three kids come along and then she started polishing the kids and not her bike. She doesn't ride anymore, which is her choice, eh? Can't force her. She's happy though, that's the main thing. I got onto your site through a lady here in Oz that does pics/run stories for Live To Ride magazine, her name is Angry. Anyway, Betsy, keep up the good pics and you never know, might bump into you at Sturgis one year. Cheers mate!

Genevieve has found a real treasure in Betsy! I have continued to admire her fiercely independent lifestyle, loyalty to her friends, and thankfulness for all of her blessings. Discovery Channel should bring back she and other members of her posse.

I went in 2012 and met you at the Biker Belles auction with a photo journalist. You are one of her idols. She looks forward to reading all your articles for years and years to come.
