I bought my Screamin' Eagle Dyna last August after returning from a 6-month deployment. I was between that one and the Softail Heritage Classic. I made the right decision. I added Vance and Hines Short Staggered pipes with a Stage 1 kit.

I also swapped the foot pegs for the skulls with rubber inserts because my feet kept sliding out going over 65 mph on the highway with the original pegs. Put a sundowner seat and a removable backrest for the wife. She was afraid of slidding off the bike becuase this baby has some serious power.

I am in Iraq right now and through the military sales dept. I bought a new 2008 Ultra Classic Electra Glide so she can be more comfortable. I read your reviews about seat height and that is one of my concerns. I know I can handle the weight being a powerlifter, but I'd rather keep it simple.

I'm trying to get my wife into learning how to ride and your reviews of the Ridleys are helpful. I will make an attempt of test riding one when I get back to see if she fits and likes a bike of her own. Wish me luck!
