This year there were several charity events going on that allow you to rally for a reason -- and that's just what I did.Check out The Legends Ride hosted by the Buffalo Chip and the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce, the Kids & Chrome charity auction and dinner, and my favorite event, the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast. On Saturday, May 17, I was invited to Denver to speak at a ladies night at Erico Motorsports. I was also invited to be a guest on Peter Boyle's USA Biker Nation syndicated radio show based in Denver. Peter, a popular morning radio talk show host in Denver and host of a weekend biker radio show, was doing a live remote on Saturday morning to promote the evening's event.

500 women ride together in Daytona

To celebrate the increase in women riding their own motorcycles, Harley-Davidson organized a women's parade taking place during Daytona Bike Week 2008. The parade was the culmination of the "Get Down to Daytona" contest where six winners submitted videos talking about their riding mentors. WRN's Genevieve Schmitt was there covering the event.
