WRN editor Genevieve Schmitt has a customized horn cover from Chrome Dome on her Street Glide and considers it a work of art. In fact, all horn covers, derby covers and other metal pieces from Chrome Dome start out with co-owner John Ketner sculpting it from a raw piece of clay. From there a mold is made and each piece is cast by hand. No expense is spared in the finishes. All American made!
Most of the products have matching accessories to give a motorcycle a fully customized look. Installation of products is relatively easy, and each comes with installation instructions. If you have questions, the guys invite you to call—they’ll even walk you through installation if you need it!

I put the expect same custom horn cover on my bike as shown in this article and while it is gorgeous and I get many compliments it stifled the sound my horn makes to barley audible. My fear is do I keep the pretty thing or need someone to hear me when I use my horn?
Funny, I didn’t notice a difference in my horn sound with the cover on it. Must be the kind of motorcycle we own. It’s really a personal decision if you feel the sound is decreased that much.
I love the Angel Heart covers. I have a 2014 HD Trike. Will these fit?

I purchased the chrome angel heart horn cover. I first was worried about installing. But after talking with Denny from Chrome Dome I changed my mind. He guarantees his product and would refund my purchase if I was not happy with it. He also told me to talk with the service department at my local Harley dealer, which I did. Was told they had no problems with the horn covers. It took me all of five minutes to install the cover and it looks great. Thank you Genevieve for following up with me.
