Mid-Atlantic Women's Motorcycle Rally (MAWMR)
June 21–23, 2018

Front Royal, Virginia

Held every June for 26 years, the Mid-Atlantic Women’s Motorcycle Rally brings together women motorcyclists and enthusiasts for a three-day rally full of friendship, games, educational seminars, rides, contests, and fundraising to support women with the challenges of cancer. This is an AMA-sanctioned women-only event. These fantastic women have raised almost $400,000 to support women facing the many challenges of cancer. The weekend culminates in the Parade of Chrome to honor women riders, cancer survivors, and pledge to support those who have been touched by cancer.

Women On Wheels (WOW) Ride-In

The 32nd annual WOW The 32nd annual WOW Ride-In will be held at the Holiday Inn in Johnson City. All female motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome to join WOW members for three days of riding, local tours, vendors, attractions, and camaraderie. WOW is a not-for-profit, international, family-oriented organization founded in 1982 that serves to unite all female motorcycle enthusiasts while promoting a positive image of the motorcycling lifestyle. Whether you’re a rider or passenger or a novice or expert rider, women of all ages and skill levels and all motorcycle and scooter types are welcome. Male, female, and child support members are also valued members of the WOW family.

ADVWoman Rendevous

The Colorado Back Country Discovery Route (COBDR) is a bucket list adventure ride through Colorado’s majestic, varied, and scenic mountains. Riders will enjoy six days of mostly dirt road riding through some of the most dramatic, beautiful scenery in North America. You’ll ride along rivers through Colorado’s mining district over mountains reaching elevations of 13,000 feet. Much of the COBDR route is fairly mellow, easy riding although there are sections which are quite challenging. Riders have the option to ride harder sections with Colorado resident and off-road instructor, Pat Jacques, or choose a less demanding route. Intermediate skills are required.

North Dakota Ladies Motorcycle Run
July 20–22, 2018

Dickinson, North Dakota

The longest-running women-only motorcycle gathering in North America continues in 2018 with more scavenger hunts, gift exchange, beach party, and banquet. This run is held the third full weekend in July at various cities in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Canada. Ladies ride alone or in groups from their hometowns to the run’s destination and are encouraged to camp or stay in motels for the weekend. This ride is for women only. This year’s theme is Medieval Times!

Women in the Wind International
August 9–12, 2018
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
You don’t need to be a Women in the Wind member to join its host, the Alberta chapter (Chinook Outriders), for the annual summer international rally. Riders will explore the best of Calgary and southwestern Alberta in this four day adventure. The kickoff weekend will be a meet ‘n’ greet at Calgary’s oldest dance hall and saloon. On Friday, the ride will take you through majestic mountains and the highest paved mountain pass in Canada. More rides on Saturday will be topped off at a scrumptious banquet dinner with guest speaker Rae S. McKenzie, followed by dancing with DJ Chantel Berkley.

Lost Coast Tour

Lace, Grace, and Gears Rally

Sisterhood of the Asphalt Ribbon started Lace, Grace and Gears® (LGG) to set a world record for the largest gathering of women motorcycle riders in one place. An attempt was made in Europe a few years ago and the event drew several hundred riders. This was the genesis of LGG, a group of women who enjoy riding motorcycles on the open road. The group’s third annual rally will offer three days of sisterhood fun, including group rides through the Texas Hill Country, a parade, food, entertainment, fireworks, and more. Riders from across the U.S. and international destinations will celebrate their passion for riding and unique sisterhood.
