"A biker's got to know how to handle her curves," says the founder of Bodacious Biker Babes. That's why the tees, tanks and hoodies from this new clothing company are designed to be sexy and supportive for fuller-figured women riders who want to look and feel good on and off the bike.

The tanks from Bodacious Biker Babes are supportive but still sport plenty of sex appeal. This OliveOyl Zip-Up Tank allows you to show as little skin (or as much!) as you'd like.

While many of the cute tanks out there feature thin fabric, itty-bitty straps, and next-to-no support, these shirts provide plenty of room in the bust area, with wider straps to allow for a bra underneath and a narrow fit at the bottom to avoid that "wearing your old man's clothes" look.

The wider sleeves on the tanks from Bodacious Biker Babes are designed to hide bra straps, ensuring a much more comfortable, "bounce-free" ride. Pictured here is the Harlette tank, available in several different colors.

The different styles and sizes, which run from small to 3X, are designed to accommodate a wide range of tastes, allowing you to promote your feminine side without taking away from the comfort of your ride. The company offers some cute logo patches, baseball caps, and doo-rags, too, so you can accessorize in style. And better yet, all these products are made in the United States (we love when we can say that!).

I really like the style and concept of the apparel and I would have loved to carry this product in my stores. I personally love a cooler tank under my leather for when I get off the bike. And I want to look good as well. But I also do not like "branding" on my apparel. Maybe a small logo on a tag or on side of pocket, etc.
That being said, I have found that my lady rider customers do not like the labels of biker chick, motorcycle mama, biker bitch etc. Lady rider, biker girl and the like seem to sell so much better. That is why I picked the name Sonsy for my business. It means full figured, pleasingly plump, high spirited, aucy. Cool name but not pertaining particularly to a body part or referring to lady riders by a name that could be off putting. Sorry to see the endeavor was not a success.

Wow, I am surprised at some of the negative comments. We were so well received at the BikeFest. I understand your likes and dislikes about a logo on a shirt, but as a start-up company it was the best and fastest way to get our brand out there and get some recognition. Obviously it wasn't enough. We are closing our doors on an adventure that all three of us loved and enjoyed. We gave it a shot as they say. You can't succeed if you don't try. Ride on.

Don't wish to be an even bigger bummer on this subject, but nothing like being interested in a product and go to the site to see they are going out of business because its cheaper outside the U.S. Oh well...best of luck. I don't want cheap and shrinks in the dryer the first time you wash. Would pay the cost for better made.

I agree with most. I like the name play and the BB logo but actually printing the words is a no for me. I ride for me. I don't want the negative image or the fact that most think I ride for the attention. I will not buy it.
