Karin,
That stinks they will not let you off in January for your B-day. Too bad we have to work. I just had a good thought we are all about the same age, so when we retire we will be riding. Can you imagine how many women riders will be on the roads then, if they think a lot now, well in less then 10 years if the good Lord allows it and I have some money in hand or pocket, I plan to ride. thank you so much Ladies,I have 13 years left for retirement yhe only good part about my job is they still pay pension, who does that anymore?Union jobs have pros and cons and I make good money so I just have to deal with it.So mny people have lost jobs,I have to think about that and then I have to end beeing so selfish. On another note, the drunk that hit my Son got 3Years in Prison.I feel kind of bad for him, cause he is only 22years old,but it is his 3rd offense.Chris is doing great and back at work, all my love,Karin

Karin..thanks for the upsdate on your son and the other guy. Feel sorry for him? Well some but you need to remember he is the one who made the choices he made. They just weren't the correct ones. There have been times when I've thought 25 would be a better age to allow folks to drink. Am glad that all survived the accident. Here in Ga. some of the folks are going to try and pass a bill so that if it's a first offense that in five years their record will be wiped clean. The cops have said that they need those past records and Mother's Against Drunk Drivers aren't happy either and I'm sure that victims and their families aren't happy either. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Here in the Atl area a young woman was well over 0.8 and her mother and a friend had both told her to not drink and drive that very day but she still got behind the wheel. On her way home from the club she hit an officer that was getting out of her to help with an accident (there were officers already there with lights on). She had multiple speeding tickets and hadn't bothered to show up in court at least 4 times. The judge denied bond so she's waiting in jail for her trial. When they showed her in court for her first time in front of the judge she appeared inconsolable.

Yes. thanks for the update Karin. Don't feel to sorry for a 22 year old with a 3rd offense, he most likely won't serve all 3 years but hopefully will wise up and come out of it a 'sober for life' man. And I will see you in Dover this Sept, if not before and yes, those mandatory 6 days do suck in the summer. My only bright spot is the the rest of my coworkers don't mind if I take off Memorial Day and July 4th, they want the overtime and then they all want Easter, T'giving and Christmas off, so I am always working on those days.
Waiting for the warm up, Brenda
