Discussion on riding gear for women

Gloves

by DrkAngel » Sat Jan 22, 2011 7:00 pm

Rode today 32-33 degrees and overcast ....my fingers froze. We rode about 60 miles. I have Heat Demon grip warmers, liners and wore insulated leather gloves but finger tips were still cold. Has anybody found a really good warm glove thats not bulky? We ride year round and it's always a challenge to stay warm. Thanks and ride safe!

I ride with Alpinestars cold weather gloves. 40 degree temps is about the limit for me in this gloves. So I think I'll be going electric this year.

I wear the Firstgear Explorer gloves and if it gets too cold, I add a Tourmaster silk liner. The gloves aren't bulky and the liner gives me about 10-20 degrees more riding weather.

Hope this helps!

I have Gerbing heated gear. It works great. It is pricey, however, it has a lifetime warranty. My fingers freeze, and they were nice a toasty in my gloves. They have gloves or liners.

Does anyone own either River Road Taos,or Rev It Zenith H20 gloves and can they attest to how warm they are? I have frostbite damage and my fingers turn white on even a 60 degree day with summer gloves.
