Just got registered! Looking forward to meeting you all! If you'll be traveling Hwy 395 south towards Reno and then on to Carson City I would love to join some ladies going that route. :D

July 21st is getting closer and just around the corner. My depart date from Harrisburg, PA via motorcycle headed west to Carson City. I am getting my self ready for this big trip to Carson City Nev. Have been working some extra, extra hours at my part time job. To earn some spending money. Looking ahead and made an appointment at the Harley Dealership in Carson City, for an oil and filter change and a mini service to check over my bike to make sure all is okay for the trip back home. Since I have been so active, I lost about 13 pounds, I feel better. My b/p is more normal, usually that extra 10 - 15 lbs makes a huge difference for me. Very soon I will be packing my bags. Can not wait!!!!!!

Yay for you Anna... looking forward to it myself. We're leaving on Monday for our first long ride of the year and I can't hardly contain myself... heading through Colorado and into WY and SD. Hubby's never been to Mt Rushmore or any of the parks in the intermountain west. Then back to work and home again and THEN to Carson City. I'll be arriving on 395 but from the south. Happy safe trails to you all.... Leanne ;)

Harley Davidson has a beautiful new building not very far down the hiway from the host hotel in Carson City. Hubby bought his bike from this dealership a few years ago and they have always done a great job on his servicing in the past :) It's amazing to me the distances you ladies are traveling from to attend this great conference, and it would surely be nice to meet you all. I'm not sure if there will be any rides around Lake Tahoe, but if there is, it would be fun to do. My son, wife and two granddaughters live in Carson City so it will be a fun combined trip for me. My dear mother-in-law lives just up Spooner Summit at South Lake Tahoe so I hope to see her as well! Being pretty new at this I'm a little apprehensive about the amount of traffic there will be. :o I am very excited to attend my first conference and meet some new friends. Please all have a safe trip and hope to see you in July!

Hi Kathy,
I am looking forward to check out the HD dealership in Carson city. I am always fasicinated with each dealership, to me it is a treat to check them out, buy a t-shirt, say hello. The folks treat you so cool, and when you think about it, we are all one family. The gentlemen at the service counter who booked my appt just loved my last name. "Riden" he said how appropriate and fitting in with my all riding I do. And said they are looking forward to my visit with them. I too hope to do some riding around the lake, and up into Virginia city, if the AMA do not have any rides setup for these ares, I will make time to do my own ride before I leave town to travel east back home. I am looking forward to seeing you at the conference. I am sure our path's will cross. I picture this conference to add another memorible adventure of my m/c riding. Take care and ride safe. See you in July. Anna

The Moto Action Center, which will be run by the Women's Motorcyclist Foundation will have some guided and self-guided day trips available. The Moto Action Center will be at the Carson City HS.

Looking forward to seeing all the ladies that will be there!! So happy to see some from the right coast coming to the left coast!!! The Sierras are beautiful, and there are great roads to ride!!

Hey Everyone!
Here is some info about the Conference that hasn't been announced, but it is on the schedule! Take a look, and if you are registered for the Conference, this is a great value to get some training while you are there! For those of you that rarely make it to the "left coast," this will be a great time for you to take advantage of this Streetmasters class!

Streetmasters to offer advanced cornering class at 2012 AMA Women's Conference

Streetmasters Motorcycle Workshops will be offering an advanced cornering class for street riders to the participants of the 2012 AMA International Women and Motorcycling Conference on July 27, 2012. The Women's Conference is being held in Carson City, NV on July 26-29, 2012. This event is not limited to only women! Men can also attend as participants. What a great place to ride!

Streetmasters will be teaching on their own private road, closed off to public traffic, for the whole day. This is a great deal for Conference participants - the price is only $100 for the day's instruction, which includes classroom at Carson City HS, then on-the-road instruction on a great little back road leading to Virginia City. Just like the regular Streetmasters Precision Cornering Workshop, the same great instructors will be there to provide personal feedback about improving your riding skills! This is a phenomenal deal!!! Streetmasters' regular price is much more than what is being asked for Conference participants, and you will get a great opportunity to work on your skills and improve your confidence.
