Hope you all got a special attention from your loved one on this day. You all deserve it

I got a dozen red roses and I almost passed out. My hubby NEVER does that! He said he hates buying dead flowers and would rather get me a live plant. I said I want dead flowers that I can enjoy for a little while and then throw out. I think he finally figured it out.

Happy Valentine's! Eric and I have never been your regular valentine's gift couples....only got flowers once, but he was in Iraq, and we know he would never be able to top that!
So I got new converse shoes, AND tonight he let me order my new motorcycle jacket!

tlc, I got flowers too, fresh cut bouquet that was a big surprise, Hubby is not the flower type and not into Valentine's Day. I had chocolates for him, as I always do, I like to give a little something on all the special days to show that I love him. Nice to see that it's rubbing off on him.

Brie, no flowers for you for a while, it's chrome, leather and farkles from here on.

We had dinner at a local homeowned Italian restaruant that we enjoy. They have 3 places and we visit them all on a somewhat regular basis....well, often enough that the owner knows us by name! No flowers here since he feels the same...why send dead flowers as he says. We got there early but by the time we left the place was nearly full. We had decided to share a piece of cheese cake but there were two ladies that came in with very loud perfume and sent me into an asthma attack so we left and headed to DQ and a mini blizzard.

I got box of chocolates from hubby. I made heart shaped meatloaf and cake for hubby & son.
