My Grandson

I feel like you are all part of my extended internet family and I wanted to share with you.
Friday night my daughter contacted me from Jacksonville, FL. My 27 year old grandson took his own life. You never know why they do this, you can only speculate. I do know it had something to do with a girl.

Mike and I are going to Florida today to be with my daughter. She has asked me to go to the Coronor's with her. I have always been told that what don't kill you will make you stronger. This is going to be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life.

Please keep us and our family in your thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear about your grandsoon. You and your famiy will be in my prayers and thoughts as ya'll are making the preparations for his funeral. I know your heart is broken into many pieces and will never mend. Never again being complete. May ya'll remember those great memories of joyful times of his life that ya'll shared with him. He is at peace now and all his demons are gone. He'll be waiting to give you a great big hug and welcome you into heaven when your day comes to meet the Master.
Ya'll have a safe trip while ya'll are on the way to your daughter and her family and while you are there.

Faye, Be the strength your daughter needs. It is as hard a burden for you and Mike, too. I hope you can find peace and solace in the future, the broken hearts will mend with time, the scars will last forever. People, in their emotional torment can somestimes see only one way out, he is no longer suffering his personal demons but it's so devastating and senseless for those left behind.
Your family is in my thoughts, I hope this isn't a setback for your daughter's health. Brenda

Any of you in the Philly or Delaware area may have heard about a lady jumping off the Walt Whitman Bridge this past week. That was my niece. I just don''t understand what these young people are thinking. Such a tragic loss of life. She left behind 2 children. I have tried to find something on the internet about it, but so far nothing.
