Karin, so sorry to hear of his accident and hope he mends well. Ya'll will be in my prayers. I don't understand why we humans can't learn from others with all the news reports and ads that drinking and driving/riding don't mix and folks continue to do it. I guess those folks who do drink/drive assume the same thing....it won't happen to me. In my prayers as you travel back and forth to visit and for a good strong recovery for your son.

The anger will eventually subside, but you just can't let it control you. Just thank the Lord and know that the driver will gets his punishment in the end.
Hopefully, he will spend some time behind bars thinking about what he did.

Oh Karin! When I read the heading of your post, I knew it was bad!
I am SO sorry and yes, I too am angry with you about drunk driving. No excuse and I hope that stupid, moronic, inconsiderate, numb-nuts, monkey-brain gets what he/she deserves.
I hate when things like this happen! Innocents suffer as a result of stupid actions of others. I have such a son, too, as you describe yours and I would be beside myself, too. I read your grief and anger in your words! BIG HUGS, prayers for your darling sweet Christopher (and Mikel), and you vent to us when you need!

Karin, I hope you didn't take my post wrong. Anger is the right feelings. I just don't want it to consume you. I am praying for your son, and hope he will recover quickly.
