My hubby will never ride on the back with me...he doesn't like not being in control...he hates when I drive the car. Worst backseat driver ever!

I have hauled my hubby already on the back of my bike, to or from the dealership cause if picking up or dropping off his bike for service and we want to do more riding on the way of commute. And I do the same to ride on the back with him. But for now this is the only time we ride two up, I am sure if for any reason of health issue I could do more two up ride, but not him on the back of me, he will only do the short trips. Any way it certainly turns the heads of folks around when they see me haul him. Anna

Well it is a mid-week ride and it was fun! One of the m/c shops on our side (west) of Atl had a movie night. We almost didn't go since the weather folks said we might have thunder storms or tornados or high winds....IF....the temps did this or that. Well I guess nothing materialized close by so it was a warm ride home. All the stuff was above us but there was damage done. The movie was "ON ANY SUNDAY" and I had not seen it and had no idea what it was about. It was very entertaining and showed a different side of different types of riding...ice racing, track racing, salt flats, etc. I guess about 20 folks showed up. The trip over to meet BF was nothing special until I heard a siren and was trying to find it...only to realize it was just in front of me and to my right so I had to make one of those nice quick stops so the fire truck could get out. The ride home was uneventful and slower since I don't ride or drive as fast in the dark  And that face is the way I feel sometimes in the dark! While we were outside one of the guys came over and said that he'd recently bought a Gold Wing but was still shakey on it with the weight difference from what he was riding. He said he watched me pull in and that it was just soooooooo smooth and he thought it was guy. Then he noticed my feet! My feet. He said my feet were "small" and that's when he thought that it had to be a women on that m/c. Said he felt encouraged after he realized that it was a woman. (I was nice since he was an older gent and he was being sincere, not cocky.) We had a good laugh and I said thank you for both compliments...being smooth and having small feet. Can't say that I've ever thought of these feet..a 9 1/2..as small but am glad that they still work after all these years.
Now..where can I go tomorrow?

Sounds like a very nice evening, something different to break up the week. Small feet in motorcycle boots is not something I'll ever be accused of, size 10 Harley's.

I couldn't believe that he said that mine were small. Size 9 1/2 in a Tour Master Solution. Oh well, it made him feel better so will just look at it as a plus. :P However I do hope they've stopped growing or spreading or whatever they're doing 'cause I do remember well when it was an 8 1/2 but I'm sure I'll keep buying shoes/boots to fit regardless of the size so one day I may be wearing Bozo the Clown shoes and I will get red ones if possible :D Oh no...a second thought...as the feet get bigger I'll be getting older and that means that my nose and ears are gonna get bigger too. Maybe we can learn about those Chinese wraps that they used to the kids' feet 'cause I can't afford plastic surgery :o

:D Funny posts, ladies... thanks for the laughs!

I got out for a ride this afternoon! YAY! It was 55 degrees and all I intended to do was to open the garage door, start her up and move her back a couple of inches to avoid a flat spot. Next thing I know, I'm zipping down the road with a LARGE grin on my face. Only rode into town and back, about 10 miles, but it was terribly energizing. I return to work in Alaska on Tuesday for 5 weeks, so when we return it will be SPRING. :D Can hardly wait. In the meantime, I'm sending prayers for another sunny warmish day tomorrow so I can meet my grandchildren in the park for a little kite flying! Cheers Ladies!!
