Wooohooo! Happy New Year! It's a bit chilly, but I got a little ride in yesterday (last of 2016) and today (start the new year right). Ride on!

I was bound and determined to ride on New Year's Day!! I found a window of opportunity between rain showers and talked a gal pal into going with me. Included a bit of the So Calif coast (Del Mar, Torrey Pines area). Cold? You betcha! But 80 miles of New Year's JOY!!!!

FYI - I'm a firm believer that what you do on New Year's Day shapes the rest of the year ... therefore a ride was a MUST!

New Year's Day was very rainy here, and although I have ridden through rain, even heavy rain, I only do it if I have to which I didn't. However, today was warmer and there was a break in the rain, even though rain was forecast, I got in just over 100 miles. About 60 degrees. I had my rain gear in case I got caught but didn't need it! Happy Riding, y'all!
