Indian Scout 60

Postby kjwales » Sat May 28, 2016 8:08 pm

Has anyone any experience with the Indian Scout 60? I'm looking for my next bike and have all but made up my mind. I realize the Scout 60 is new for '16, but hoping for someone who has purchased to give your take.
Thanks
Kelly

Haven't purchased it but rode it for a demo. The salesman had gotten one of those for his wife.

I almost bought one but it was too much bike and too much $$$ to get as my first bike. If I were to buy a new bike today, I would consider the Scout again.

I hadn't checked out the Scout Sixty until you posted so thanks for doing so :) Looks like a nice ride and some great color options. It is a 5 speed and looks like it weights less than 600 pounds if I read the info correctly during my sleepless night  It's liquid cooled right? And the price didn't seem too bad to me. I also checked out the Scout and you can get ABS with that model and a 6 speed which I was really happy to see but that's not the bike you are asking about. I did a search on WRN and found some links for you or anyone else looking at this bike (the results are for 2015 and earlier though and not the Sixty), http://www.womenridersnow.com/pages/sea ... f=FORID:11
I agree with Zaandar, I would consider this (either) bike if I were looking to get a new one.

I love the look of this bike. Will most definately be on my list should I be looking for another ride one day. Definately!

Beautiful bike. Here's a comparison video that just came out.

So Friday afternoon I bought a brand new Scout 60, pearl and black. Rode it for around 23 miles before I bought it and then 125 miles home.
