House of Harley-Davidson, the dealership in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is hosting Women's Day on Friday August 29 as part of Reunion Bash 2008.

Brooke Pape from House of Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee is organizing the women's day. This newly-minted rider says she's excited to be putting on this event.

The celebration, in honor of Harley's 105th Anniversary, will encompass more than three city blocks in front of the House of Harley dealership. All event activities are free to the public and open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Chopper Chick Crew

Many female bike-industry celebrities will be part of Women's Day including the Chopper Chick Crew seen on NBC's Today Show. Members Katie Putnam, Jayme Gray, Vivian "Gypsy" Charros, Ajax Forget, Athena "Chickie" Ransom -- WRN's "Know Your Motorcycle" contributor, Kate O'Shea and JoAnn Bortles will perform a live custom bike build for charity.

WRN founder and editor Genevieve Schmitt

Our own WomenRidersNow.com founder, Genevieve Schmitt, will present two motivational speeches on "Making More Saddle Time" and "Taking the Next Step: Setting New Riding Goals."

Sara Liberte and Jody Perewtiz of Garage Girls will host two seminars called "Know Your Machine" and "Tools."

Women can also sign up for a Women's Only Bike Show. To be eligible, women must own and ride the bike they enter in the show.
